I’m one of the Project Managers at Excel. Some of what I do includes setting the work schedule for the crew, making sure the crew has what they need for the day, meeting with customers about their projects, meeting with vendors and suppliers, creating takeoffs, and making sketches for the designer.

Some of my professional backgrounds is 35+ years in the trades, 25 as a rough and finish carpenter, 15+ as a project manager, and 5+ as a business owner. Some of my favorite projects that I have worked on are the restoration of St. John’s Military Academy, which had a huge water loss and had to be rebuilt. Another would be the Oriental Theater in Milwaukee, which also had a water loss and a collapsed ceiling and had to be remodeled.

My personal background is that I am a Wisconsinite through and through, born and raised in the Milwaukee County area. Some of my hobbies include spending time with my eight grandkids and family, hanging out with my Golden Doodle, and going antiquing and estate sales. Some special talents I have are being able to think on my feet quickly, trivia knowledge, and, according to my wife, “useless knowledge.”
