Hello everyone, my name is Jacob Funkhouser. I am a design consultant for Excel Custom Contractors LLC. Out of Franksville, WI. I am responsible for working with you to design the perfect deck for you and your family and any other outdoor projects for your home.

I would like you to get to know me before we meet and spend time at your house. I am the lucky husband of the most wonderful wife in the world Faye Foster, to whom I have been married for over twenty-four years. My wife grew up in Madison and wanted to move back home to take care of her sick sister and be closer to family and friends. So, we purchased Faye’s parents’ house in Madison (which I finished remodeling) and started our new adventure in the great state of Wisconsin 4 years ago. My wife has two boys (Jarrod and Adam) and I have two wonderful sisters, Annie and Sarah have given me 3 amazing nieces (Shannon, Molly, and Maggie) and we can’t forget our dog, Scout.

I have a passion for the construction industry and especially remodeling, decks, and 3-4 season rooms. My talent lies in being able to visualize the final product, then designing all aspects of the project, and finally working together to try to fit the project into your budget.
