- Eligibility for paid holidays begins after the 90-day probationary period from start of employment. Holidays are paid at ½
day for carpenter apprentice/carpenter and full day for carpenter supervisor/carpenter foreman. Unapproved absences
immediately before or after the holiday will result in the forfeiture of a paid holiday. - Holiday pay does not count as hours worked and will not be factored in for overtime purposes. Only hours worked greater
than 40 are at time and a half. - Vacation Time
- Vacation time accrues on hours worked and begins immediately after probationary period.
- Eligibility for accrual begins 90 days after hire date.
- Vacation time may be carried over only from the first year of employment if your hire date is after the second half of the
year. - Maximum accrued time permitted is two weeks and must be used prior to end of the year. Failure to utilize vacation time
results in forfeiture and may not be redeemed in the form of payment. - Vacation pay does not count as hours worked and will not be factored in for overtime purposes. Only hours worked greater
